We often hear “I know or think Sage is capable of it but I don’t know where to find it or how to use it”. “Slice of Sage” is aimed at those who wish to experience a particular function or area for the first time, are existing users who have not maximised the area or function’s capabilities, or are revisiting an area or function which hasn’t been used for some time. Concentrating specifically on the area or function, “Slice of Sage” courses are designed to be short and informative with practical hands on, and are available as Workshops. Training Small Business – Tailored Training – At Premises
This one to one training is specific to an individual’s or business’s requirements and has the added advantage of using ‘Live’ data.

• For new users courses are structured around the business, broken down into eight, three hour sessions. Content is based upon the gradual learning of each area of the software, entering live information under guidance. Performance and user competence are assessed with feedback, before moving the user on to the next area. At the end of the training a manual is left to assist with on going learning, containing notes and templates, specific both to the software and the business.
• For existing users courses can be tailored to specific areas either as a refresher or learning a new area of the software.

Workshops
Built upon the “Slice of Sage” content, these courses are non-specific to the individual or company and are based on data in a fictitious company; however the data used is along the same lines as that experienced in real life, taking you through the day to day and monthly routines required in any business. The courses are relaxed and friendly and are held in the local area in small groups – maximum of six delegates to ensure maximum tutor attention. They have the added bonus of being short (three hours) and are structured, covering specific topics in detail.

Whilst these courses are not subject to any formal examination, each delegate will be provided with notes and a certificate of attendance on completion of the course. Contact us for pricing of Workshops.
